How the Other Half Lives

How the Other Half Lives by photojournalist Jacob Riis is a study of the living conditions of the New York City slums of the 1880’s. As a work of muckraking journalism, How the Other Half Lives exposed the horrid conditions of some of the poorest Americans to the upper and middle classes.

This edition also includes photographs by Jacob Riis.
